Protection and Hygiene Concept of Messe Friedrichshafen

Currently, trade fairs may still be held in Baden-Württemberg

Effective September 16, 2021, Baden-Württemberg’s state government has adopted a new ordinance on infection containment measures to prevent the transmission of the coronavirus (the Coronavirus Ordinance).

The key change here is that the incidence values will no longer be the determining factor for what is allowed in everyday life in Baden-Württemberg. Instead, a three-stage warning system based on hospitalization incidence and the utilization of intensive care beds will be the basis of such decision-making.

When the hospitalization incidence reaches or exceeds 8.0 for five consecutive working days or the utilization of intensive care beds in Baden-Württemberg reaches or exceeds a value of 250 for two consecutive working days, a warning level will be declared.  At the warning level stage, the 3G regulations for taking part in public life (requiring persons to either be vaccinated or tested for the coronavirus or be officially declared as having recently recovered from a coronavirus infection) will continue to apply. However, only PCR tests will be accepted, and “rapid tests” will no longer be sufficient.

When the hospitalization incidence reaches or exceeds 12.0 for five consecutive working days or the utilization of intensive care beds in Baden-Württemberg reaches or exceeds a value of 390 for two consecutive working days, an alarm level will be declared. At the alarm level stage, the 2G regulations for taking part in public life (requiring persons to either be vaccinated for the coronavirus or be officially declared as having recently recovered from a coronavirus infection) will apply.

On the basis of this ordinance, we have adapted our existing Protection & Hygiene Concept to the new requirements. You can download the new version applicable to you here:

Any subsequent changes will be incorporated into the concept documents in a timely manner. You should therefore check that you have the current version on a regular basis.
